Just stumbled upon this. Knowledge Zenith apparently has their own M760.

http://h5.m.taobao.com/awp/core/detail.htm?id=36415539754&spm=0.0.0.0

Much cheaper than the Dasetn version. Only at ¥45. I'm pretty interested in trying this out. Could someone explain the purchasing protocol for taobao?

Very interesting, because as we can see on your link, 2 pics are the same as Dasetn used for his M760 site.
Those 2 pics looks to be the original ones from your link since 2 of them has been resized from Dasetn website, probably due to hide original taobao watermarks...
So, who is the true and original maker of those M760 mods ? Dasetn or KZ ? I would obvously say KZ due to those pics. If Dasetn use KZ modded drivers to his M760, so it definitely could be a shame... as nowhere KZ is mentionned for drivers providing or anything like this.

I'm really interested aswell to give a try to those KZ-MX760, but is there only this chinese link to buy them ? unfortunately I can only understand at least english :frowning2: (and I hope they can ship to France too).

Follow-up on the TG-38s. It's not a bad sound. Very big bass. Somewhat attenuated mids and highs. It is worth the cost. But it will be removed from my go-to list. Currently, I have three pairs of on-ear cans, one pair of over-ear cans, two pairs of IEMs, and two pairs of earbuds on my go-to list. I rotate through these as I feel - and also as the situation demands (I usually don't wear over-ear cans in public) The TG-38s is not prefered to any of these and the worse ones on my go-to list (which are still pretty darn good) are Urban Ears Platten and Philips SHE3510.

The music that made me realize the shortcomings of the TG-38s were pop jazz like David Benoit and John Klemmer. The TG-38s color the piano and saxophone to a degree where they don't sound like they are supposed to. This coloration is not so apparent on poppy top 40 music.

The TG-38s is musical and listenable, it just colors acoustic instruments with mid and high frequency content to a point where they no longer sound like they do in person.

The TG-38s are very efficient and the in your head powerful bass (certainly not cannons - but more bass than usual) are an exciting and engaging - just not accurate sound. I can understand how these buds might take the cake for fast electronic club music like trance or house. They might even sound awesome for music where every instrument is either electronic or heavily processed (produced) in nature.

subwoof3r,
I added your newer E100 review the original post.

Also, I know this is an earbud thread, but sine we all have experience with Dasetn, what does everyone think of his new IE800 removable cable mod and other IEMs? Clearly, the IE800 he's selling for $52 with removable cable cannot be a genuine IE800 driver inside, right? Does anyone know how it sounds regardless?

ALSO, sticking with Dasetn questions. Again, non-earbud. What the heck are the 'B AND O FORM 2 PK KOSS px200 ii'? http://www.dasetn.com/b-and-o-form-2-pk-koss-px200-ii-(black)_p3341.html

Is it like a Do it yourself headphone? I can't figure out what it is.

Back on topic though. I should be receiving the M760 soon. Really looking forward to trying them out after all the good reviews on this thread.

(ALSO, could not help myself and ordered the 80‘s NOS Vintage Aiwa headphone M38 as well: http://www.dasetn.com/80€˜s-nos-vintage-aiwa-headphone-m38-collect-20-years_p3301.html)

Dasetn says this is the best earphone to buy this year but yet the pricier CKM1000 model that also uses the IE80 cable is one of the best on the market. I guess the CKM1000 DIY would be better cause it is $10 more and can compare to $600 models while the IE800 is "as good as $300" ones.

Guess we need a guinea pig to see how they really sound. Tempting esp. since they both come with replaceable cable versions and Dasetn is safer to work with than some seller on Taobao or elsewhere. Had some other things on my radar but possible I could try my choice of the two Dasetn phones.
