Good news I guess.

Looks like they have put some old threads in there for starters.

What constitutes High-End?

Two steps above what you own unless you own a KGBHSE with O2 and a Firstwatt F1 with K1000 fed from a Meridian 808.2 or Esoteric seperates source rig.

Cables must be pure silver and turntable must be suspended chassis with a MC cart of at least Koetsu level.

...resting on at least 3 feet high pillars made out of rocks from the surface of The Moon.

Too bad I sold my K1000s to fund the KGBHSE. Per Duggeh, my rigs won't qualify.

I'll be happy lurking there anyway. I'm hopeful that the new high-end forum can bring out some great discussions about total systems, and not just focus on which headphone, which amp, source, etc. There really hasn't been a place to talk about that before other than meet impressions threads, and the new forum certainly allows for that.

Then neither of my rigs will qualify either.
* Have Omega II, but no KGBH SE. Just an SRM-007t.
* Have K1000, but no Firstwatt F1. Just an incoming Signature 30.2.

Fine for me.

And I have a F1, but no K1000s. Btw, the Sig 30.2 with the K1000s sounds pretty dang nice, but we can take that up in the new forum later.

High-End is any gear owned or used by Jameson Davenport Briggs or Jonathan Scull. It is on a need-to-know basis, as you and I can not afford it anyway.

Probably how the item are able to reproduce the recorded sound.
Aka -> Sound quality.

By the way. We now have a separate thread for this specific subject.

Interesting to me that two threads moved there are DIY: Millett and B22.
