Any good opamp + buffer could be a better solution, but you could try a cheapo chip NJM 4556 (70mA and specified driving lower impedances than most opamps) which is used in Grado RA-1. You could also build a RA-1 clone.
Thanks everyone. The OPA2614 looks promising! I've got a tight budget and am looking at a cheap CMoy or MINT style amp with high current for my SR-225's or even consdering a Gilmore Dyamic. Anybody know how much more current say, a Gilmore Lite puts out compared to the 2614 or a buffered opamp output?
