I'm looking into getting this dap...what headphones are you using with it and do you find them underpowered at all? I'm wondering if I get it if Ill deep a portable amp/dac

Can you at least share 20-50 words on why? Also, what other DAPs can you compare it with?

I'ts very powerfull and it should drive most headphones and large cans - my headphones are Hisoundaudio PAA1 Pro
which sound amazing I also have some beats HD. I bought it without the HE400 headphone bundle as I have loads of headphones.
 
I've just put it on ebay for sales as if  you want to look at the item number 301090335870 as I want to buy the A120.
 
The Player sounds amazing I also have a Fiio X3 and this has more details and soundstage.
 
It does not have separate DAC but it's a great portable device that for on the move.

It has been a while since the release but no detailed reviews yet. It's very good paired with the RE400B, good enough to ignore some more expensive IEMs, like the Turbine Copper Pro I have. It feels like I have bought a RE400B bundle, not a HM700 bundle if you know what I mean.
