Though not the most stable of connections, I have been able hook up an iPod to the HM1000 OTG via the Lightning-to-C cable. Sometimes the connection drops, and I would have to depress the INPUT button a few times to get reconnected again. An irritation but worse, I think the HM1000 draws power from the iPod on the connection, draining the iPod's battery in a few short hours. Am I doing something wrong here?
Make sure that "no charge" mode is activated by pressing the charging button next to USB-C port after connecting to your device.
When activated, the light beside the USB-C port will blink green/red.

Yes I did that, didn’t work as intended. That said, I realized I was using a lightning-to-C cable, which the instructions clearly state wouldn’t work. I’ll have to go get an Apple camera adaptor and try again. Curious, has anyone been able to stream Apple Lossless on OTG mode, and certain that it is distinctly superior to the lossy music through BT?Make sure that "no charge" mode is activated by pressing the charging button next to USB-C port after connecting to your device.

Has anyone tried to connect to a MBP? I tried both MBP/C-to-C/HM1K and MBP/C-to-Hub-A-C/HM1K. Neither is working for me.
[EDIT Ps. Seriously don't have much confidence that getting the Apple Lightning Camera converter is going to work unless someone has tried that successfully. Anyone?]

My red HM1000 developed an issue whereas there's static, electric-like noise during playback. Happens with different inputs and outputs as well.
Never charged and listened at the same time which was reported earlier in the thread as no-no.
Anyone else had same issue?

Yes. I don't listen anymore, it bugs me too much once I noticed. Just tried to troubleshoot with different inputs/outputs/headphones, same result. So now u listen music have static sound??
Pretty upset about it. I don't think hifiman has any replacements left, so will be hoping for repair at least. Not looking forward to being offered a pair of their headphones as replacement.
Ya like no more left. I hoping mine last long. lolYes. I don't listen anymore, it bugs me too much once I noticed. Just tried to troubleshoot with different inputs/outputs/headphones, same result.

Hi all, I’m intrigued by the new thing from Hifiman - 901R, but I’m a bit confused with the fact that it's not possible to switch tracks by buttons on it. Also, I'm an iOS user mostly and for me, it's very interesting how Hifiman-remote works with iPhone, especially the case with the lock screen and when the app is in the background. I worried because, for instance, HibyLink is awful on iOS...
Any comments from HM1000 users with iOS devices will be appreciated as the app is the same

I’m sure there are others with better luck but I’ve not been able to control the HM1000 through the iOS app on my iPod or iPhone. I’ve only streamed Apple Music with it through BT and OTG (which drains the iOS device’s battery despite the flashing red/green light mode). But the sound is really amazing, more than makes up for the crappy software. In the end, I must say that I am also happy with the size/portability and ease of use controlling the music play via BT.Hi all, I’m intrigued by the new thing from Hifiman - 901R, but I’m a bit confused with the fact that it's not possible to switch tracks by buttons on it. So, you can't connect iPhone to HM1000 via Hifiman-remote at all? It was just too baggy to use ?I’m sure there are others with better luck but I’ve not been able to control the HM1000 through the iOS app on my iPod or iPhone.
