Hi there, I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on an HE6seV2 but I need to know if a Xduoo Ta-22 with its 3W on 32 ohm load can drive them without any complaints. Consider I always EQ headphones, but I don’t generally add too much bass... If a headphone has flat bass i would add something like a 3dB bass shelf below 100 Hz. Thanks!

As a reference, I use the soloist gt on high gain. I usually run the headphones at 80.

I also have a topping a90.

From my limited experience, these phones need lots of power.

I have half a dozen amps and had several HE6SEs. The Sabaj A20h and SMSL DL200 is the most cost effective 5 volt DAC and amplifier built for 5v input. The more current you have the better or you'll run out of power fast when equalizing. The Autoeq profile for them sounds beautiful, but the -6db preamp reduction requires a 5 volt DAC and an amplifier that can start your car on the balanced side.
