  M 50 is closed design and HD 600 is open one.
If you want closed cans, you can also consider K 550, DT 770 32 Ohm. What type of sound signature do you want? Do you want more bass?

I love good bass but also realistic and not overpowering. I looked at the K 550's and the reviews are exceptional as are the 770's so with that being said is one known better for comfort than the other, Thanx...

I dig my M50! I'm new to the scene though. The cable on the M50 is very loooong FYI.
