This will only be for a backup cable. Would a generic 3.5mm male to dual 3.5mm males splitter work for the Hifiman HE4XX? Or is the Hifiman cable proprietary? Thanks.

Yeah, It's not really proprietary. Dual 3.5mm tip ring sleeve to single 3.5mm should work. I believe the Focal Elear uses the same. This will only be for a backup cable. Would a generic 3.5mm male to dual 3.5mm males splitter work for the Hifiman HE4XX? Or is the Hifiman cable proprietary? Thanks.

Would also like a longer cable, pretty hopeless really, looking at ebay already. Should be at least 2 meters, the one with the cans is at most 1m. Think found something on ebay or amazon, but will send link when sure. Note in Norway, so amazon is more or less out for me. But chinese websites also work.
Well found this one https://www.ebay.com/itm/3856194053...3OcuWQ-GHDLlYwHabcrvSoGfXPzYZekBoCGR4QAvD_BwE on ebaby. Looks long enough.
I get the Youkamoo Hifiman cables and they come in long lengths and very well priced, especially for the balanced ones. The new black ones look good compared to the originals.
I got mine, haven't really checked them yet but they had to send a second pair as first was faulty. Buzzing in one ear. Actually, yes did check them and second pair was ok. Twined cables, skinny things. Plastic not rubber. But what the hell for 20 bucks can't complain. Going to go online and spam a bit.
Well more like 40 bucks so was relieved that seller sent another pair. Which worked this time.
