I've had my HiFiMan HE400i for almost year now, I brought them used with very little use and in very good condition. I always suspected the metallic paint on the ear cups would be fingerprint magnets and they are but recently I have begun to notice more and more scratches in the paint, some very noticeable ones and more minor ones in a certain light. Is it just inevitable that a metallic paint like this is going to scratch and I should just let them age gracefully with the worn look? I sometimes wipe the ear cups with a microfiber towel or wet wipes and I don't know how the scratches have got there.
