Hifiman HE1000-SE

I have not put the new HEK SE against it, but I have put the Auteur against the HEK Stealth, my HE-6 SE twice, and it ate them both for breakfast.
Interesting. I haven't heard the HEK Stealth, but it's supposed to be the Arya Stealth on steroids.

Now I must check the Auteur.

Can anyone tell me what these dates on this paper mean? (It came in the box with the headphones among other papers and a booklet).

I bought the headphones new from a store. Is this the production date or have they been serviced?

Those numbers are serial numbers of drivers inside headphones, can used for registration and warranty claims.

do you know if I can find out the production date of my headphones using these serial numbers

Isn't it simply written backwards, so 231124 is the driver's manufacturing date November 24th, 2023 ?

On the shipping box there's also a sticker with the detailed date of the quality control, e.g. 2023-11-30.

Thanks, do you know if I can find out the production date of my headphones using these serial numbers, or does HiFiMan not provide that information?
If you have original transport box there is production/testing date on it. Like here on the pic.

A question I have about HEKSE's scalability with different amp, whether the improvement would be noticeable enough going from say the Violectric V222 to the Holo Bliss which 3x the cost. I'd love to hear your thoughts. From what I've read the Susvara would definitely be more beneficial with better gears

It’s all about quality of power and current. I can tell you that they scale very well. HEKSE plays masterfully on my SusOG made chain which includes the AIC-10. So you should see it step up another level. Just don’t expect it to be a Susvara. But will get you about 75%/80% there. It’s a great headphone.

I was thinking closer to 90ish%.

I have read several times on various websites that the newer HE1000se models from Hifiman are no longer as dominant in the high tones.
Is there any truth to this?
Has there been a new revision by Hifiman ?
If so, from what date approximately ?

Copied directly from the HEK SE thread and I agree 100%

HEK Stealth is magnificent in my opinion.

Yes, it is.
However, to my ears, the SE (silent revision), has MUCH more resolution and spaciousness. Better separation of instruments. Overall, more enjoyable sound.
But those are my ears.

How do you know you got the silent revision ?

I'm sure it is. But I was after a more neutral, smoother and refined presentation, hence I got the HEKse.
