Hi,
Just bought a pair of HD800s and compared to my HE500s am very happy. Part of the difference for me is that I have a fairly significant roll off in my upper frequency range in both of my ears, so 'bright' cans are actually welcome.
Anyhow I purchased the HE500s along with the EF5 amp and have been wondering what if any feedback current HD800 owners might have about this pairing? My previous set up before the HIFMAN was using the headphone out on my Bryston BP26 preamp (still feeding my EF5 via a Bryston BDA-1 DAC).
