I used to have the HD800s. I had them for two weeks and returned them. They had way too much treble and the hiss on ssss was too much for me. Will I find the treble on the Ananda's too much as well? Is the Ananda sibilant? I don't like using the EQ. Thanks in advance.

I don't have the Ananda but have had the Sundara and now have the Arya Stealth--I have heard that the Ananda can be sibilant.

Possibly, no one can say how these headphones will react to your physiology. I will say that for me the HD800s is sibilant only with speech in stock form, but EQ fixes that right up.

What about the Hifiman Edition XS? Are the highs more tolerable on those?
