HIFIMAN Arya - Arya Stealth - Arya Organic :: Impressions Thread

Picked up Arya Organic recently, thing what immediately stands out compared to previous versions like V1 and Stealth is added thickness in bass and vocals, Arya Organic is weighty and most dynamic sounding of the bunch.

Also it is quite bright too, no around it. Brighter than og Utopia, brighter than HE500 in high treble but playing rock music which was bit thin before is now very engaging.
It's a tends towards a V-shape sound... ;(

Ah no I'm getting a DAC/Amp, probably the Qudelix. it's just I'd heard that the Stealth at least can be driven straight from a phone if need be.
I can - at least technically. But just like @Zarah said: it'll sound pretty much like a$$- with no bass impact at all....

I’ve picked up an unused open box arya stealth for half price. I’m going to use it with my fiio m17 in desktop mode. I’m hoping it will be great for mostly for classical music

Please tell us what it sounds like for classical music.

The organic is better for classical. As with most HIfiman there's a dip in about 1-2k which tends to suppress vocals and the mid strings so not great for classical or jazz. Of course you can EQ depending on your willingness
Any frequency response graphs for the organic?

Any frequency response graphs for the organic?

My reference for the perfect neutral sound to my ears is the Susvara so I included it as well

The stealth will let the music create the space, and not try and pump up either end of the soundscape.

Sounds like exactly what I'm after

Can someone link to a carry pouch and/or carry case ? Considering the organics cups are laying flat , I need the slimmest solution possible , thanks !
I am currently using the Van Nuys E475 carrying case. I usually store the organics upright. Not sure if they are wide enough to store the organics flat. I will have to try later this evening. The picture below shows Sony MDR-MV1 stored flat so it might just work for the organics. I ordered mine directly from Van Nuys and will need to work with a forwarder to get it out of Japan.
