Cannot compare with other DACs because I have none, but I really like this small DAC + HPA unit (the MK2 version of it, which seems to be sold out for now). I like the headphone amplifier from this DAC better than my Musical Fidelity X-Can V3. My headphone is the Sennheiser HD650. Crystal clear sound when connected via USB to my computer, using lossless music. I would recommend this unit.

Zardoc, thanks for your reviews, they were helpful. Although I am more concerned about the DAC quality than the HPA.

Worth bearing in mind that, AFAIK, the version of the hifidiy unit that zardos and I have is no longer available. One of the other threads on this DAC lists the differences, I think, if not then I have them listed on this PC somewhere and can dig them up.
