I know this issue is so old already, but I cannot find any way round it yet. It clicks nearly all the time, during the track, at the beginning of each track, and surprisingly, the left ear clicks more than the right! 
I tried all other codecs, and the DS clicks the most compared to KS or ASIO, sometime the click just gone for few hours without any notice and it comes back. I believe it's not because of my lap's spec, I'm running on XP with 2gb ddr2, core 2 duo 2.05ghz.My lap's latency is around 200-250us.
I'm feeding it to the B24.

just discovered that the hiface is pretty sensitive to any voltage change, it started clicking right after I turned of the electric heater, after working flawlessly for few hours.
anyone experienced this?

ok, I solved the problem. Installed win7 and everything runs as smoothly as it needs to~~~~
