Does anyone know anything about this? I just happened upon it when visiting the Hidizs website. Kind of strange that I haven't been able to find any info about this at all, other than on their site. Seems like they designed an upgrade model to their flagship DAP and then just posted it for sale on their website one day, without any sort of announcement or marketing campaign or anything like that. As far as I can tell, the only differences are new DAC chips (from ESS9218P to ES9219C) and the addition of 8x MQA decoding. Although I'm pretty sure the original AP80 Pro could already do 4x MQA after a firmware update earlier this year. In any case, I just ordered the black one. Such a pretty device IMO. Although I may be biased because small form factor is very high on my list of desired DAP features. I have always had a certain fondness toward Hidizs products - their AP60 II was my first real DAP and my introduction to this hobby. I still have the AP 60 II, and I like to bust it out on occasion. Sounds great. And I have had two different AP80 Pros in the past. However none at the moment, which I why I ordered the new AP80 Pro-X. Can't wait for it to get here. Does any have any other details about this thing, or is anyone else planning to pick one up?
