Not good micro usb cable
I had ordered 2 when i got mojo first time many months back..

I have below micro to micro usb cables:

I suggest you to try out different cables, it changes sound a lot. You may be missing good resolution, separation and tonality because of these cheap usb cables. I am not trying to sell any snake oil here, i am just suggesting to audition once atleast.

ap60 can play DSD64  is fine
ap60 can not play DSD128

too bad when connecting the AP60 to my E5 via micro usb to micro usb cable, no sound at all coming out from E5 ..
the usb connection mode is USB ..
AP60 recognized the audio connection to E5 when using that micro usb cable, and there I have it, no sound at all
m firmware is 1.01b
 
but I like the wireless connection from AP60 to E5 .. now I can listen to hi res music and receive incoming calls
I guess my walnut is officially retired.

It might well be that the cable/adapter you have doesn't support the OTG standard that is required for the data stream to be recognised.

naaaaaaaaaah, the cable works fine on both my xiaomi phone
I use the same cable when using USB Audio Player Pro to connect Redmi 2 to my E5 and they cooperate just fine ... except  Redmi Note 2 to my E5, they did not cooperate well (already contacted UAPP dev about this issue and they said it was redmi note 2's kernel issue -Lollipop )

USB worked on my laptop and on my redmi 2 ..
unfortunately, USB DAC mode on Redmi 2 using USB Audio Player Pro produces "chipmunk sound" T.T
