Hi all,
I posted this question in various thread but unlikely the good one. I'd like to use my R3 Pro Saber as a high quality music source for my old HiFi stereo amplifier. I started using the LO using a 3.5 mm jack to RCA cable (HiFi quality). However the result is awful. The sound seems to be coming from a cave. My idea is to plug the R3 Pro to an external DAC. The question is how? If I set the USB port as audio than sound come out of this port. Most external DAC have coaxial, optical or USB B asynchronous ports. Using a USB C to USB B or to coaxial will it be possible to transfer my music to the DAC? Thanks in advance because it's driving me mad. And do you think this will solve my cave issue?
Cheers,

wow...nobody answered? I too am having problems with connecting to external dac dongle (e1da 9038d)... sound coming out of the dongle are hiss and clicks. I set usb mode as audio and connect the r3 pro saber to the usb-c dongle via a usb-c male to usb-c cable.

Well I managed to find a solution which is not perfect but anyway. I bought an external DAC (SMSL Sanskrit 10th MK2) and a good USB-C to micro-USB cable. This way by pushing the Hiby R3 Pro Saber to max the sound out of my DAC is wonderfull. I gave up on the jack possibilities. Everything I tried was crap. Hope this will help

OK, will try this when I get back with the dongle...I have other dacs too which I can try but I prefer the dongle as it is mobile
