Just thought I'd say hi.
I'm relatively new to good quality headphones.
Over the last couple of years, I've bought a number of pairs of better quality, although still budget, in ear buds, the sound magic E10 are the ones I currently use.
For my birthday this year, I decided to spoil myself and bought a pair of Beyerdynamic DT880 premium 250 ohm headphones along with an HRT microstreamer to use with my laptop. As I don't have a hifi, and probably won't buy one for a couple of years, this seemed the best way to introduce myself to a better quality of listening.
The headphones are really comfortable with my glasses, which was something I worried about (and is what drove me towards the 880s) though my ears get warm after a while.
They sound really good to me though I suppose I have little else to compare them to.
