Hi all;
This is my first post hear. I have been toiling to find a good hi-res player that supports PCM over USB. My "cans" are Shure KSE1500 and I am very satisfied with the Cirrus DAC in it so I have no reason to use the line in on it. I have tried the following devices
1. iPhone X, has issues with static and crackling when playing back. Apparently both Shure and Apple are working on the issue but no date of resolution is set.
2. Astell & Kern AK70MKII. The device almost satisfies all needs but the thing is the device charges the KSE while plugged in and mounted over USB and thus playback time is limited to 1.5 hours.
So, I am looking for recommendations that anyone is using a similar setup and has achieved good results. What player are you using?
