At this price range, geting better headphones is worth it more imo.

 
I totally understand, and I agree. This thread is also for others who are in need of something that would work with their non-Apple device, as well as questions that I'd like to get answered by knowledgeable people here. Currently, I would like to know if there are solutions for this situation. It'd be awesome figuring this problem out, and to go along this process and acquire HD 380's later on down the road.
