I wonder why the new TC7520 was not used for the test? It is supposed to be an improvement over the TC7510. I have been saving up to purchase it, but would have loved to see it compared instead of the outgoing model.

Looks like I chose wisely with the DACmagic.

I dont know how much burn in they did with the dacmagic, but out of the box it is definately on the dark sound, and slightly polite.

100hrs plus it becomes very dynamic and gains some more aggression.

I agree wholeheartedly. The DacMagic sounded flat and uninvolving out of
the box. Thank god I was patient and as you say after 100 hours it sounds
very different. After 200 hours it is sublime

Can't stress this enough: Burn in your DM before making a decision!!!
