Hi there,

I'm thinking of getting a cabinet maker to build me a shelving system for all my Hi-fi gadgets.

Please can you take a look at the attached .jpg (hope this works) and let me know what you think.

I'm particularly interested in getting opinions from people who have got custom made cabinets built for them and any pit-falls I should look out for.

Thanks for your help.

Wheres the left speaker? And you need a bigger TV.

Other than that, it looks very nice, and i like how you have the sub in there.

Thanks.

The left and rights are the side elevations of the left and right sides of the shelves. Confusing I know. The speakers aren't shown. They will be Rogers sats on high metal stands. The TV is actually a 20 inch LCD screen (apple). It's all I can afford for now. I'll have a TV tuner running through a Mac-mini. This is mainly so I can play songs through iTunes and use the screen to negotiate the jukebox.

I'm thinking the sub will be fine in the space as the right side is ported?

It'll be made with hardwood.
