i have a PC, PS3, XBOXone, and eventually will pick up a PS4, i play mainly on PC and Playstation 3
what i need:
a. a headset that is excellent for gaming, first person games especially, need directional sounds, 5.1, 7.1, surround emulation
b. a headset that is easily connected to ps3 and ps4, preferably it does have this connectivity
c. a headset i can use with my phone (not a must, but a bonus)
my budget:
a. $600 tops
currently using:
a. logitech g930, good but mic sucks, picks up everything
options im looking at:
a. i picked up sound blaster recon 3d since this combo is all i ever needed but there is one problem, many people reporting problems with firmware issue on the usb/external sound card, it dont power up or dont work, replacement is expensive, warranty is short

option a is the best since its made for that purpose but the usb/external sound card is known to break
option b i heard is a really good headphone
option c i heard is even better than b
then people who bought b & c suggest getting sound blaster internal sound card with the high performance amp
im looking at these, but my main question is... i need a gaming headset combo that works on PC, PS3, PS4 mainly, and if i can take it to go for music, great, if not, its no deal breaker.... WHAT do you guys suggest, which headset, which amp, which sound card, a setup that wont break my bank but at same time provide me LONG time use for gaming, movies, music
