Hello,
I'm looking for a new desktop amp. Currently I use a stock iBasso D10 from my motherboards optical out. I love the sound I have from this set-up, though I realize it could be improved. However, my biggest gripe is the lack of volume. I like to listen at higher levels than is recommended. For some recordings the D10 does well, for others it falls short.
The gripes I have with this set-up are minor in the grand scheme of things... The sound stage could be wider, the HFI's are not the most comfortable in the world. I do like the overall sound of the headphones.
Any suggestions?
