Been lurking around for a few months, awesome website!
I am in the market for a new pair of portable headphones. Nothing large or obnoxious!
Currently have the Grado SR80 (5 years) and Sony 7506 (2 years), really love the SR80... music sparkles, very colored and snappy with this headphone much more so than the 7506. I want to sell the 7506 haha...
Basically looking for something closed that can provide me with Grado sound. I listen to a wide variety of music, classical, rock, house, R&B... and so on
I am looking to step up in sound so my budget is around $400-500CAD but if there is something cheaper then that'll be good for my wallet.
Based on what I have seen in terms of reviews and opinions... I think the ESW9 or ESW10 would be best suited for me? I could consider IEMs such as Westone 3s or Sennheiser IE8s?
Any suggestions would be great!
