Hey Lextek !!

Man, that's a beauty. I'm to old and can tell you, "for once in my life", I worked with a Borroughs Nixie Tube display desk top calculator... It was so beautiful...

Nixie tubes, for the youngest, where the first electronic "mono-position" displays. Before that, only mechanical numbers or neon little lamps in binary order forming the numbers on a computer painel... like a Borroughs B 500s. Old stuff...

Only some 15 years after that, Texas Instruments launched the today's display formed by seven LED segments. Dates to be confirmed...

bah! you can find much cooler ones on ebay. Just type in the word "nixie" and you will get a buncha stuff.
