Hercules Audio Moses - General Discussion & Impressions

Thank you for your question, @KingEpk @phiemon. The gold hexagonal faceplate version is limited to 50 pieces, individually serialized on each pair, they will only be available while stocks last. After that, the production will be in black.

The image below is the standard version with a black hexagonal faceplate, golden edges, and logo. fyi

Great, then I still had the right information. Do you have a picture of the RE version? I would like black better.

Yes, this will be the Regular Edition for those who want a stealthy look. The black hexagonal mesh will give a stronger color contrast to the golden bearing and logo.

Yes we will attend Canjam Singapore 2025. Lets have some fun and meet the community there.
Sound-wise, how would you characterize it ?
For the number and choice of drivers, it looks like a Noble Viking Ragnar ( Moses has only 1 less DD). Then I don't know how it is tuned.

To answer your question in an unbiased manner, I might give you a link to the Watter Cooler Thread, and read how the Head-Fi community thinks after listening to the Moses at Canjam New York.

We will also be attending future Canjams including Singapore, UK and US. See if you can listen it yourself in person.

Randomized in no particular order:

As I can remember, Moses has nothing to do with Ragnar - the former much more to my taste
I don't know what to tell you. I didn't listen to Moses. I don't know whether it is similar or the other way around. I wrote that looking at the numbers and the constitution of the drivers....they are almost the same. Ragnar has one more DD. The rest is the same. Then I don't know how it is tuned.

Can also confirm that Moses sounds nothing like Ragnar. It’s much more warm and bassier whereas I heard Ragnar to lean to the colder/thinner side of the spectrum.

Checking into the thread, speaking to Ahmed/Elise about ordering a pair of these... Seems like an exaggerated U shape with loads of upper treble from the few impressions I found online - sounds like something right up my alley, might pair it with a warmer source to scoop the upper mids a little if those get excessive

Gorgeous shells though, and a really "complete" design

Will probably place an order today and post impressions soon!

Order placed!

Do you have any recommendations on the DAP/amp?

I am planning on driving them with the LnP dongles mostly (W4 and W2 Ultra), Mojo 2 and a Mcintosh MHA150 which should be a perfect pairing for them

We have tried Moses with Mojo 1, simple solution and works great. We brought the Mojo 1 and Hugo 1 to Canjam and the community who are visiting us quite liked it. Simple and functional solution if you are using your phone as a source. But you will need a 4.4 to 3.5 Adapter, a simple ddhifi adapter will do the job.

Received my 37/50 today!

The first thing that stood out is how nice the shells look in person, the design is incredible and I have to say it looks quite a lot nicer than the renders I saw on the website

They're also insanely comfortable, probably the most comfortable universal I've heard. They're stable and flush in my ears, but doesn't feel like they're lodged in there causing discomfort, and they're extremely light so I can barely feel them

I haven't quite gotten the Mojo2 to work yet, and have been listening with an Apple dongle

I might need to look into a DAP for portable/transportable use, @Gavin C4 have you had the chance to try the Moses with the N8II?
