I've been revisting my fusion collection today listening to Weather Report - Black Market, Frank Zappa - Grand Wazoo, and Herbie Hancok - Thrust.

Track 3, 'Butterfly', on Thrust has always blown me away. Is there any other albums or tracks out there that are reminiscent of this masterpiece?

You could also check out the Headhunters live 1975 album Flood, which is only available as a Japanese Import. It's excellent. There is a version of Butterfly on the album:
