I just bought the Fiio e7 amp/dac to use with my sennheiser ie80 amd iphone. I just tested it after charging, and the sound is about the same quality as my iphone, but it. Is quiet, even at 60 volume, it is as loud at 100% as my iphone is at 80%, what is wrong with my fiio e7

Make sure your computer's volume is at 100%, that was always a big one for me.

No, im using it with my iphone, and a line out dock, when you plug the 3.5 mm to dock into the iphone, it takes over the volume, and then you control the volume solely with the e7, but its still very quiet, like it doesnt have enough power to run my headphones
