It will not come back on tried hard reset, soft reset, different USB ports, different usb cables even a/c charge and nothing do not know what do. More information will be helpful in diagnosing the problem, but you may want to start here:

Gen 1 - Zune Boards

Questions to ask:

Does it power on?

Does your computer recognize it when you connect it?

Can you hear the Zunes internal hard drive spin up as you power it on?

Are you getting any error messages?

Etc.

Plug it to the computer for at least 1 hour and see if it turns on.

Call Zune tech support and ask them to send the box for exchanging.

or if your Zune is out or warranty.
- Open it. Follow Rapid Repair guide
- Unplug the battery. wait 1 minute and plug it back
- Try charging it again.
