Hi, i recently purchased a xonar dx. I had to do a registry fix to get it working with my xfx 680i lt motherboard as they have problems with it.
My main problem is the audio randomly switching sides, for example i have to flip my headphones around to get right audio positioning in games if that happens. It seems to happen randomly. Any help with this problem is greatly appreciated.
Other things that seem to happen is, when using dolby headphones it seems sounds are muffled. Occasional crackle when alting in and out of a game, tried using anything above headphone setting and it sounds very distorted ( because im using wrong port/ audio out at the back of the soundcard?) I tried the new drivers, the one previous to the beta drivers and i wasn't able to control audio from windows.
I'm using 2 channel audio channel, PCM 192Khz sample rate, and headphone analog out, all other dsp effects disabled. Should i try putting the card into my 16x slot? Sorry for all the questions lol
,thanks for any help.
