Hi all,
 
Long time lurker here. I'm about to purchase a WA6 from a stranger (not through head-fi). I wonder what's a reasonable price for a used wa6 that was produced in early 2013? The vanilla version without any upgrades. 
 
I'll have about an hour to listen to it before sealing the deal. I wonder if you guys can give me some tips about checking out for defects, etc...

I got mine for 450 with a few good tubes, the sophia included. All had decent hours on them. I'd say that 450 was on the low end for what I got, and I might have paid more like 500. It does have a few dings and scratches, and I guess you have to take cosmetics into account.
