Hi, I just joined and I need some help for my future setup before I start buying things.

I'll be getting this equipment:
(Speakers) http://www.amazon.com/M-Audio-Active-Studio-Monitor-Speakers/dp/B005F3H6Q8/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pd_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=33XB8K7BXZJAP&coliid=IBL26G0BM29I9

- (Wires for the speakers) http://www.amazon.com/Hosa-CMP159-Stereo-Breakout-10-Feet/dp/B005HGM1D6/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pd_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=33XB8K7BXZJAP&coliid=I3MGI9EI1WNWTY

(Subwoofer) http://www.amazon.com/BIC-America-F12-475-Watt-Subwoofer/dp/B0015A8Y5M/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=33XB8K7BXZJAP&coliid=I1RUFCY6VJC67T

- (Possible wires for the sub) http://www.amazon.com/Monoprice-Premium-3-5mm-Stereo-Plated/dp/B002K8A75I/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=33XB8K7BXZJAP&coliid=I2W7V6ZMF6FD9F

ow the TRS wires I'm sure can just be plugged into the Front Jack (green) in the back of my PC, right? My big question is, how do I hook up the RCA cables to the subwoofer? Do I just plug one into the "Sub in" on the back of the sub and have it do mono to the orange jack on the back of my PC? Or are those other jacks there (red and black http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/613P8uF9cyL.jpg, see the holes on the tops of those?) able to take RCA by directly plugging into them?

Is there a reason you aren't considering something like the SBX10 (the M audio companion sub for those speakers)?

(well, other than price, but I wouldn't recommend lowballing the sub)

It has a passthrough connection that would greatly simplify things.

Otherwise, you'll need some sort of splitter to turn the single 1/8" jack at your computer into two 1/8" stereo jacks, one for the speakers and one for the sub. the cables you linked should work in that case.

That sub looks nice but yes it's about price. Maybe someday in the future I'll upgrade but for now I've heard great things about that BIC sub so I'm gonna stick with that since my price range is $500 tops and so far I'm at about $460.

Thank you for your response.

edit: I should note that I'm currently using  this 2.1 system. so any upgrade from that would make my day. I've been using that setup since 2008 haha.
