[FooTemps]

Hey yall I'm trying to figure out how to get SSI to work on my godaddy hosting but I can't get it to work for the life of me.

I don't really know how to set up the hosting for it to accept SSI.

I threw in a .htaccess file with
Options Indexes FollowSymLinks Includes
AddType application/x-httpd-CGI .CGI
AddType text/x-server-parsed-html .shtml
DirectoryIndex index.shtml index.html

but it doesn't really do anything. I just get "error processing ssi file".

yes, this is my first time using server side includes, thanks in advance

edit: well I found out that I can run ssi commands like date and last updated. I just can't run a footer or header properly...
