Hello all,
I am currently looking to upgrade from my ER6i's to something a little better. I am looking to keep it under $200 and I am quite tempted by the Costco UE super fi 5 pro deal for $129. I have also thought about the ER4p's but the thought of something that doesn't go as deep in the ear canal is appealling and I heard that you wear the UE's a little shallower. Isolation is welcome but major isolation is not that important to me.
Any others that I should research? Or does anyone have some advice on the 5 pro/ER4p?
Primary listening for these IEM's will be through an iPod, most likely unamped because I am generally too lazy to hook up and carry my Total Airhead. I am usually just sneaking in listening on the go anyway because of my kids. I mostly listen to classic rock or anything by Pat Metheny, especially Pat Metheny Group.
