Hey all. Have a set of Denon D7000's I meant to build a turntable setup around but never got around to it. Advice appreciated. This is the setup I am considering;
What am I missing and is there other better components I should be looking at? Listening will be done solely by headphone. Either closed like the Denon or something open.
Budget flexible on components. Rather buy once cry once within reason. Say 1-2k for the gear ish. Exclude headphone price.
Believe I will need two sets of cables for this set up, one from turntable to preamp them magni 2 uber. Then obviously plug headphones into Magni.
Magni 2 Uber claims it has "pre-amp" caabilities. Do i still need the preamp?
Any advice or better gear suggestions appreciated. Been out of the game for a few years. Please criticize away. Looking for info before purchase. Mainly will be classical music with some random reggae, punk, bob dylan, Johnny Cash. etc thrown in.
