Hello everyone,
There is no search function now, so I was wondering if anyone could tell me what is the proper opamp orientation for the single to dual Browndog adaptor? Do the opamps mirror each other or do they face in tandem? I have the adaptor with the 16 pinholes with the eight pins underneath. I installed my 627 opamps in tandem(text side facing the same way), and found the sound okay, but bloated in the bass and lacking detail. Before I unsolder the current configuration, thought I could have some insight on this matter.

If it's audible at all, the op-amps are oriented correctly. If they were in backwards, you would either hear a single very loud click when you powered the amp up, or nothing at all.

Thank you, Tangent. You just saved me some tricky desoldering.
This is curious. I prefer the AD823 chip I have in my Rega Ear right now than the dual OPA627's I had in there before. I guess that would be a first!
