Im sorry, the IEM forum isn't open, and today, one of the nozzles that filter the sound, got damaged.

Now, I cannot buy a replacement for those because I don't live in USA, so, I tried to remove all that come inside the nozzle (the filter), It worked, but, my question is...

will be there any "damage" to use the IEm like that? I mean without the sound filter.

Right know I only detect a much clearer highs (just a little, the left side, has the complete nozzle) but I'm in my house, a non noisy enviroment. I'm afraid that on the street with all the noise from cars, buses, etc, I'll need to raise the volume and maybe there will be any damage to my ears. I mean, the filters are there for a reason. Aren't they?

Thanks in advance
Is anybody used theirs without the filter?

i don't think there will be any damage to your hearing, but without the filter stuff like earwax might get into the drivers and clog them up.

on that note, i just inspected my er4s and discovered one filter missing....
