Hello again
smily_headphones1.gif

I'm having trouble finding a 4P3T Rotary switch (for crosfeed) on the Digikey and Mouser websites. I'm probably looking right at it but don't understand the terminology in the catalog...

These are the 2 most promising candidates that I was able to find...

451-1030-ND
451-1034-ND

I'm also having trouble finding hookup wire online. I found one spool of teflon stranded but it was 100 ft!

A5855B-100-ND

Thanks again for your help!

Those Electroswitches would
certainly work.

They are 4 pole, three throw.
They will come with a pin
that makes the switch either a 2 throw
or a 3 throw, depending on the placement of the pin; hence "2-3" active
positions

Will both of these sound ok in the amp?

I don't see why they wouldn't sound
good. One switch is
sealed (the actual switch is encased
in a plastic body with the switch contacts
sticking out), and the other isn't
(all the switch components are exposed). I'd
go with the sealed switch, since it
would be less likely to become dirty;
and hence bad sounding.

(On the other hand, the unsealed switch would be
much easier to clean whan it becomes tainted.)

On a personal note, I much prefer
the Grayhill switches. They have
a better "feel" than the
Electroswitches.
