so I'm currently torn between the M50x + fiio E6 amp and the V-moda crossfade LP2 vocal
I need closed cans for public use and I listen mostly to EDM but I still like many other genres so I want sth that has good bass but still works with different tastes

In my opinion, the LP2 is going to sound better for edm than the M50x--but that's just me. You might also look into the VMODA XS (not sure about pricing where you are), a very good portable option. Lastly, it is worth reading about the SoundMAGIC HP150. It is more neutral than the M50x or the LP2, but it has nice bass extension and might be a more versatile choice for you.
