Hi guys,
I'm hoping someone can help as Google can't. When I plug my Samsung Galaxy S2 or Sony Ericsson Satio into my Kenwood hifi via phono plugs, the sound quality is terrible. Not just quiet but muffled. I don't remember having this problem with an old Nokia phone. Playing Virgin or Playstation through phono plugs from the headphone socket on the TV sounds great. Why are the phones so terrible? I've looked at preamps but don't wanna fork out £70 if it won't solve the problem. Any advice would be great!
