Hello All,

I am in progress of putting a new iFi setup together for my home audio system.

Here is what I got so far....

iFi nano iDSD
iFi nano iCan
iFi nano USB3.0
iFi Gemini USB Cable (Not on my hands yet and open to suggestions)
iFi iRack

To interconnect my iCan and the iDSD I have to go mini to mini and use the 6.4mm-to-3.5mm adapter that comes with the iCan.
Unless the make a mini to 6.4?

I am new to this type of setups so excuse my ignorance

Also what cables would you recommend for RCA, USB, and Interconnect?

TIA!

From computer -> iFi Mercury USB cable-> iFi nano USB3.0 -> iFi Gemini -> iDSD -> RCA unbalanced cables (I recommend Violectric Premium RCA cables) -> iFi nano iCan -> headphones.

I don't think that balanced RCA cables are a thing. I think he just means a normal (unbalanced) RCA cable.

Ok. Got it.
I cant go that route sense I need to use the RCA for my speakers.
I am hooking up to my satellite speakers.

Thanks.

Ok you can connect the speakers through the RCA outputs on the iDSD. The iCan is kind of redundant in this case since the only output it has is the headphone out. If you really want to connect the iCan though, you'll have to use a 3.5mm Male to RCA cable.
