I've have a pair of old JVC speakers (SP-E18K) which i want to repurpose as computer speakers/dock for iphone. On the back, it says "Power Handling Capacity: 40W,80W(MUSIC)" and "Impedance: 8Ohms". It uses the red and black cabling. Do I need an amp for this? How do i connect it to my laptop?
