I'm 40yr old female and looking for over the ear headphones.  I was looking at beats, but are they for kids?  I need help?

Beats are generally all around bad values for the money. 
 
What is your budget? 
What do you like to listen to? 
Do you like lots of bass, or do you want a more balanced sound?
Is comfort important? 
Should they block out outside noise?

My budget is about 200.00
I like all kinds of music, not a lot of base.
Keeping nose out is def a plus. Have to be comfortable.

The best looking headphone for women is probably the RHA SA950. Rockwell's wife likes them, lol. They're well regarded for their price range, lots of bass, but sonically of course they're no match for good $200 'phones. They definitely sound better than Beats, though!
 
Another option is the Philips Uptown, I think they look good, and are also well regarded.
