I've been looking at a couple power amps for my 2 cabinets and ran into this
http://www.lubell.com/PVi4B_Manual.pdf

The way its worded "100 watts into 4 ohm (2 x 8 ohm) speakers" as described on shops' descriptions is confusing me.
Also, on the PDF, pages 7 and 8, it says "100 watts / 4 ohms   75 watts / 8 ohms"

Now does that mean 75watts per cab if they are both plugged into the separate outputs?
What I really want to know, is how much power my 8ohm 80 watt cabs would be receiving.

And if it is just 75watts each, is that enough to listen at fairly loud levels?
Also, if anybody knows any better amps for similar price ranges I could buy?

Sorry if this is in wrong section/irrelevant !

How much power your speakers need is dependent on their sensitivity, which you haven't given.

Your speakers have a nominal impedance of 8 ohms? Then you'll get 100 watts in total (50 watts each) according to the specs I think.
