Hi,
I am using a Dell inspiron 6000 laptop with ATI X300 graphics, and outputting to my 4:3 CRT TV using an S-Video cable. And running Windows XP.
My problem is when watching a widescreen (very widescreen) movie, the giant black bars on my 4:3 TV means that the picture is verryy small. I want to be able to zoom into the picture (pan & scan).
I have not been able to do this at all. I have 'theatre mode' also known as 'video mode' enabled, which makes videos look much better on my tv as well (without it its MUCH worse).
I have Media player classic, VLC and Zoom player.
Zoom player solves this problem by letting you use the + and - keys to easliy zoon the picture, but unfortunately this zoomed video does not get sent to the overlay that is being sent to the s-video tv-out. (if this can be done the problem is solved).
So PLEAASE help me, its bugging the heck out of me looking for a way to make it work.
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
