Hello everyone.
Haven't posted for advice in a while. I recently acquired the T8iE Mk II earphones and they are amazing. I plugged them up to my old Dacport LX using my 2014 macbook pro and they sound even better. Right now, I have to control the volume digitally because they're so loud coming out of the Dacport LX, but I read that that's not the ideal setup to maximize the sound ie you should have the digital volume maxed out and adjust the volume via analog. Plus, its super annoying when I forget i'm using the LX and I pull up a youtube video with the volume maxed and my ears gets pounded by the sound.
Can anyone recommend a good / cheap amp to pair with the dacport lx? I was looking at the schiit magni 2 for $99. Any thoughts?
But I was also thinking about purchasing some 24/192 songs from HDtracks and I know that Dacport LX can only do 24/92. What about the Fulla 2? Would that be considered on the same level as the Dacport LX in terms of sound quality?
