The highest priority is the quality of DAC.
This will be used 75% with my desktop and a speaker setup.
10% of the time I'll be using it with my laptop in a nice 2.0 home theater setup.
10% would be using the DAC and Amp at my desktop.
And the remaining 5% would be using the amp with my ipod.
Excellent sound quality and battery life are most important. Next would be quality of the amp when paired with Grados. And last would be size weight and price (but cheaper is better).
Right now I'm considering the Ray Samuels Predator and iBasso's offerings.
I'm currently using an M-Audio Transit which I find lacking. I want something significantly better.
