I have not bought a pcdp in quite a while. What is out there around $100,possibly a little more, that has a good line out and at least some anti-shock? It doesn't have to be the lightest or the slimmest. Looking mainly for best sound available. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

a warning, iriver line out is not as superb as some sony ones. when you change the eq settings, it will be applied to the line out too. also the gumstick battery lasted 7hours for mp3 and 4-5hours for normal cds. there is an external AA battery pack that will add 10hours. everything else is flawless in my opinion. i can list the features but there are too much.
the sound for the imp350 and imp400 are the same, they uses the same chip, except the imp400 have more memories. i do prefer the design of the imp400, which seem to be able to outlast the imp350. but even with good care the imp350 can last.
